Anchored Sheet Pile Retaining Wall with Drilled Drainage for Slope Protection in Lublin
It took us 3 weeks to construct permanent anchored sheet pile retaining wall for protection of high slope under the modernization of the main crossroads in Lublin (Solidarności and Sikorskiego avenues and Gen. B. Ducha Str.). About 186m long and up to 10m high, the retaining wall was anchored with one or two levels of anchors. Moreover, for the purposes of dewatering, we installed twenty six 12-metre-long drilled drains. The sheet piles were installed with a resonance-free vibrator and the anchors and drains with a caterpillar anchoring machine. Later, to fully meet the design requirements, the steel structure will be finished with siding.
