The deepest excavation in Rzeszów

AARSLEFF Sp. z o.o. is currently executing the protection of the deepest trench in Rzeszów, excavated for the construction of the Hetman Vielki tower block at ul. Hetmańska.
The excavation has a trapezium plan (40x47m) and the depth of 7.0m below the ground level and is located in the very centre of the city, in close proximity to residential and commercial buildings.
To meet Client’s requirements, mobilization of personnel and equipment took as few as a couple of days, despite the need to install sheet piles of high static and strength parameters and to engage several specialist machines.
At present the installation of sheet piles has been finished and there is work in progress on the assembly of pile caps and strutting, which will be supported by the previously driven precast piles.
